  • Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta passes away, and Emilio Azcárraga Milmo is appointed as president of the company. Mr. Azcárraga Milmo had begun to realize his vision for the company in 1961 with the launch of Spanish International Network (SIN), in the United States. SIN later became Univision.

1969

  • Intermex, our publishing distribution company with operations in Mexico and abroad, is created.
