Since 2016, Televisa has joined the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, and incorporated the Ten Principles of the UN as part of its strategy, culture and daily actions.

By incorporating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into strategies, policies and procedures, and establishing a culture of integrity, Televisa is not only upholding their basic responsibilities to people and planet, but also setting the stage for long-term success.

Televisa has submitted its Annual Report for Climate Change and Water through CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project).

CDP supports Televisa to disclose the environmental impacts regarding its operations. Through CDP, Televisa aims to make environmental reporting and risk management a business norm, and drive disclosure, insight and action towards a sustainable economy.

In 2024, Televisa's social responsibility programs were recognized, for the seventh consecutive year, with the Socially Responsible Company (ESR by its Spanish acronym) distinction, awarded by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy, and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Televisa received this recognition for its continuous connection with the community, quality of work life, care and preservation of the environment, and business ethics.

Grupo Televisa was recertified with the ISO-14001:2015 standard at Televisa Santa Fe. The ISO-14001:2015 standard provides Televisa with practical tools to manage its environmental responsibilities. The ISO-14001:2015 standard establishes the Company's criteria to design and implement its environmental management system.
